Whistler Water Prepares for Lululemon’s SeaWheeze

Whistler Water is the official hydrator of Lululemon’s half marathon, SeaWheeze 2014. If you haven’t heard of this amazing event, it goes a little something like this: Yoga, run, party. Whistler Water, being locally sourced from pure glacial water and contained within a 100% biodegradable and recyclable bottle, was the obvious choice to provide water for each aid station at the event. We like to interact with our community, because, well, you guys are awesome! With that being said, the Whistler Water team will also be at the finish line to personally welcome and hydrate runners upon their completion of the run.

In anticipation of the event, we have created a blog series focused on training, nutrition, and all that accompanies the preparation for a half-marathon. Nope, no nutrition and exercise experts here to tell you about the necessity of a three-hour cool-down (though we’re sure those are pretty awesome), instead we will be featuring some of the many amazing and inspiring folks that work here at Whistler Water, and share information on all that has been going into their training and preparation for SeaWheeze 2014. Steven Bowles crunches numbers in our accounting department and recently decided to take a shift away from team sports to start running. SeaWheeze is his motivation to train, progress, and achieve some of his personal running goals.

Katie Paterson is part of our HR team and a single time-crunched mom determined to practice for SeaWheeze to stay fit and healthy.

Chelsea Carswell is a positive and energetic marketing coordinator. Though a new runner, Chelsea is very driven and talented, so we weren’t surprised when she suggested signing up for SeaWheeze to help strike an item off her bucket list.

Danielle Libonati is a wonderfully talented creative in our marketing department who signed up for SeaWheeze to help her get wedding ready.

Dan Grima orchestrates our youth education program and is also a new dad. Between juggling a baby and training, he needed an event to help him stay focused and chose SeaWheeze to be that catalyst.
