Hats Off Day is a huge, one-day street festival featuring a colourful main-street style parade with real local flavour, followed by a big street party. Hastings Street from Boundary Road to Gamma Avenue is car-free, and the streets are packed with families, friends, neighbours, and merchants!
Walk For Arthritis, Vancouver

The Walk for Arthritis is a one-day community-based event that raises much-needed funds for the more than six million Canadians affected by arthritis. The Walk for Arthritis was started in 2009 by small community groups who decided that people living with arthritis needed more support and who realized that if more funds could be raised, they might make a difference to their future.

Renowned globally for its mountain biking, Whistler also plays host to Ironman Canada. Along with some of the best trail running, it just seemed obvious to host an off road triathlon in this world class destination! Whistler has played host to off road triathlon previously, with the Xterra Canadian Championships most recently in 2010. Now with strong support from the community, the Whistler Triathlon Club is reviving the off-road triathlon format for 2019. Put the Whistler X Triathlon in your calendars – you will not want to miss it!
